August 26, 2016 - Rained Out for August 27; I-95 Challenge Next on Thursday, September 1
ATTENTION: After a late afternoon official site evaluation, several major issues with additional power/electrical requirements for the upcoming Nitro Circus Live Show have been discovered requiring immediate attention.
As many of you know we had an issue last Friday night with one section of track lighting not firing up. This was a symptom of a larger electrical problem that was uncovered this evening. With that being said we are forced to cancel tomorrow night's racing program as we tackle this issue along with several others discovered during the inspection process.
We are thankful that the larger problem was found and are confident that the necessary repairs and local inspections will be completed by Thursday's I-95 Late Model Challenge event. The safety of our fans and drivers are of the utmost importance to us. The Brian Honda Pure Stock Blitz $500 to win and the U-Car $600 to win specials will be made up next Thursday. T
hank you for your understanding and the continued support of Your Hometown Track, Historic Fayetteville Motor Speedway.
