June 22, 2016 - Friday Night Fights Round 1 Up Next at Fayetteville Motor Speedway
Battle for Bragg Super Late Models headline Round 1 of the Friday Night Fights bonus series with a $3,000 to win feature. This will be the final tuneup for the Super Late Models before The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series rolls into Historic Fayetteville Motor Speedway on Thursday July 7th for The Dunn Benson Ford Wayne Gray Sr. Memorial event!

Drivers from both regional super late model series have their sights set on YOUR Hometown Track! Ferguson, Milliken,Bradsher, Collins,Parker & Rouse just to name a few that have gave their intentions to go after the $3,000 payday!

All of YOUR FMS Weekly divisions will be in action along with the addition of the Super Stock 4's & LEGENDS! Each weekly division will accumulate points over three races with the champion receiving a one of a kind gladiator helmet.

Gates will open for the pits at 5:30 with the grandstands opening at 6pm. Drivers meeting will be at 7pm with hotlaps & Jimmy John's Freaky Fast Qualifying along with other on track action kicking off at 7:30pm.

Grandstand admission is $20 for adults with senior and military $18. Kids 11-15 $10 with kids 10 & Under FREE. Pit admission is $30 for adults and ages 10-and-under free.

June 15, 2016 - Fayetteville Motor Speedway Hosts Schools Out 40 on June 18th
School's Out for Summer & YOUR Hometown Track Historic Fayetteville Motor Speedway has you covered ALL SUMMER LONG! Kicking off the summer stretch is the FUEL Racing Series.

Current FUEL point leader "Super Duck" Donald Bradsher leads a loaded field of drivers into BOOM CITY for $3,000 to win! Along with Bradsher drivers Matt Long, Willie Milliken & Ross Bailes will look to hoist the hardware for the second time this season while some of the Southeasts best go after their first series victory.

Joining the FUEL Racing Series will be Jimmy John's FREAKY FAST Qualifying & feature events for the Diet Mtn Dew Modifieds, Camping World Pure Stocks, Super Streets & U-Cars.

Grandstand admission is $20 for adults with senior and military $18. 16-and-under are Free with a current valid STUD

May 18, 2016 - Cape Fear Valley Health System Joins Fayetteville as Title Sponsor for Hometown Heroes Night
Fayetteville Motor Speedway will honor local first responders on Hometown Heroes Night, slated for Sat., Sept. 17, at the Doc Bennett Road facility. Cape Fear Valley Health System, one of the state's largest, will be the title sponsor for the special event.

Action will take place in six division, including a doubleheader for the Pure Stock competitors.

Cape Fear Valley Health Systems was established in 1956. Headquartered in Fayetteville, the regional health system operates five hospitals totalling 765 beds. It specializes in open-heart surgery, home health and hospice, cancer treatment, maternity services, emergency medicine, pediatric intensive care and wellness programs. On the brink of a highly anticipated weekend of racing with the nationally acclaimed World of Outlaw Craftsman Late Model Series we are proud to announce Black's Tire & Auto Service as the title sponsor of the one of a kind victory lane at Historic Fayetteville Motor Speedway. As announced in the off season we are constructing a victory lane that is going to bring the excitement & celebration of a victory closer to the fans! Black's Tire & Auto Service has been apart of our corporate marketing team for several seasons & we have been fortunate to have them to work with. History :
Black's Tire & Auto Service was formed in 1929 as Black's Service Station by W. Crowell Black in Whiteville,NC. Now, with 37 locations in both North and South Carolina,locally and family owned/operated tire sales and service and vehicle repair business. In 1976 Ricky Benton (with his wife Dianne's support) opened a gas station/garage in the Cerro Gordo,NC community. Ricky continued to operate this business until 1981, when he began working with Black’s Tire Service in Whiteville. Ricky continued working at Black's Tire, expanding the business into multiple locations. Later, Benton purchased Black's Tire from Crowell Black but continued to operate it under the Black’s Tire name out of respect for the Black family. Ricky and Dianne are very involved in the daily operations of the company as are their sons Rick, Ryan, and Jeremy. Today the company operates under the division names Black's Tire & Auto Service, BTS Commercial, BTS Tire and Wheel Distributors, and Carolina Retread.

April 25, 2016 - World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series Set for Fayetteville Invasion
This Saturday, April 30 the stars and cars of the World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series will be invading “Your Hometown Track,” the historic Fayetteville Motor Speedway. The night will be highlighted by the $10,000-to-win, Tarheel 100 as many of the nation’s best drivers look to tame Carolina’s best.

Current WoO point leader, Josh Richards leads a star-studded stampede of traveling racers into Fayetteville Motor Speedway this Saturday. Shane Clanton, Rick Eckert, Chub Frank, Brian Shirley, Morgan Bagley, Chase Junghans, Frank Heckenast Jr., Billy Moyer Jr., Joey Coulter, Steve Casebolt, Eric Wells, Brandon Overton and Tyler Erb are just some of the touring racers who will be in action.

Chris Ferguson will be on hand to attempt to defend his win in this event from just a year ago.

Entries from more than ten states are expected for this huge event.

Joining the World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series on the program will be the Budweiser Late Models, AMRA Diet Mountain Dew Modifieds, Pure Stocks, and U-Cars. In addition, the King of the Super Street Series will be held, which will be highlighted by a $750-to-win feature.

Grandstand gates open at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, and you’ll want to get there early to make sure you get a good seat to say the havoc atop the 4/10-mile oval.

Grandstand admission is $30 for adults with senior and military $28. Ages 11-15 are $15 with ages 10-and-under Free. VIP seating is available for $40. For $45 you receive VIP seating and pit access. Please note that chairs will only be allowed on top two rows and in wide middle row.

Pit admission is $40 for adults ages 11-15 $20, and ages 10-and-under free. Support division drivers, who are racing, only pay $30 for pit admission. Pit gates open at 3 p.m.

April 12, 2016 - Tolar Piping & Supply Title Sponsor for The Fast & Furious 40
Tolar Piping & Supply of Fayetteville is back as title sponsor of The Fast & Furious 40 for the 3rd season at Historic Fayetteville Motor Speedway! The Fuel Racing Series will make their first of two stops at YOUR Hometown Track for a $3,000 to win $300 to start main event! This event will feature many of your favorite Budweiser Late Models & many heavy hitters that are on tour with the FUEL Racing Series.

Co headlining this event will be a $500 to win Pure Stock special! "Ol Dirty" Daniel Johnson kicked off 2016 with a win on opening night. March 29, 2016 - Big Boss Man 50 Announced for June 4th
Coming off an exciting season opener with The Carolina Clash Super Late Model Series we are excited to announce that SATURDAY NIGHT June 4th will be The Big Boss Man 50! This race is a tribute to "The Big Boss Man" himself Johnathan Patterson! He was a friend of many racers and staff at Historic Fayetteville Motor Speedway. This race will be 50 laps paying $7,500 to winner! So mark you calendars NOW for the return of "The Blue Collar Tour" to YOUR Hometown Track!

The highest finishing driver in The Big Boss Man 50 that does not make The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series Dunn Benson Ford Wayne Gray Sr. Memorial will be rewarded a provisional into the 50 lap $10,000 to win feature on July 7th!

March 23, 2016 - New Championships Premiering at Fayetteville Motor Speedway
We at YOUR Hometown track are excited to announce the multiple championships available for the 2016 season. This year we will crown three new regular season champions along with some mini series champions that will take place throughout the year.

King of the Super Street Series- The King of the Super Street Series returns to Historic Fayetteville Motor Speedway for the 2016 season! This year we will have 6 races paying a minimum of $750 to win. Drivers will be able to drop 1 ...race out of the 5.The King will pickup a cool $1,000 at the awards celebration. Last years King of the Super Street Benji Thompson & runner up Greg Bass Jr. took it down to the wire for the series championship!

Bryan Honda "Race for the Record" Pure Stock BLITZ- Pure Stock drivers THE BLITZ is BACK! This season we will have 6 races paying a minimum of $500! You will be able to drop your worst finish. The champion of The Bryan Honda Pure Stock Blitz will pick up a $500 series championship at the end of the season! "The American Dream" Dustin Watkins will be the defending champion as well as the defending regular season Pure Stock Champion!

Friday Night Fights- Throughout the season there will be three rounds of Friday night races. Points will be accumilated over these events (seperate from regular season points). Each points champion will recieve a Friday Night Fights Championship Belt.

The Battle for Bragg- This year we will crown a SUPER LATE MODEL points champion. Our scheduled 8 races will count towards The Battle for Bragg championship including the World of Outlaw Craftsman Late Model Series & Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series Events. ATTEMPTS & FEATURE FINISHES WILL BE COUNTED!

The Sandhills Shootout- This will be a 5 race series for the AMRA sanctioned Diet Mtn Dew Modifeds. Points will be calculated seprately from regular season points. This series will include the TWO SEDMS races. We have added a race on September 30th to make it 5 races.

For the first time in many years we will crown a 4 cylinder champion. On the schedule there are 9 total races. Each of those races will count towards a season championship.

Last year we featured the 20th Anniversary $2,000 to win Diet Mtn Dew Modified championship this season we have a few feature classes.
The 2016 Points Champions at Your Hometown Track, Historic Fayetteville Motor Speedway will receive the following monies at the season ending awards celebration:

The King of the Super Street Series returns to Historic Fayetteville Motor Speedway for the 2016 season! This year we will have 6 races paying a minimum of $750 to win. Drivers will be able to drop 1 race out of the 5.The King will pickup a cool $1,000 after the last race.  Last years King of the Super Street Benji Thompson & runner up Greg Bass Jr. took it down to the wire for the series championship!

February 26, 2016 - Fayetteville Motor Speedway Launches New Website
1As Fayetteville Motor Speedway prepares for its 2016 season it has now launched a brand new website at www.FayettevilleMotorSpeedway.com, which has been designed by MSR Mafia PR & Website Services.

Located in Fayetteville, North Carolina, the facility is preparing for its most ambitious slate to date with a full docket of weekly racing sereis events that will be complimented by a host of special events for various divisions.

The season opens on March 12th with a Driver Appreciation Party and a Daytime Practice at the facility. Make plans to join us and check back often for the latest updates.
